K1200RS service repair manual FREE download User Name Remember Me? Hi Everyone, Love the site! I am a new owner of a K1200RS 2003 and like to perform all my own maintenance. With that in mind I was looking for a good service manual on line and came across this web site. You can download the whole 335 page manual not only for the K1200Rs but all kinds of makes and model motorcycles. I probably should have changed the heading to Free motorcycle service repair manual download site.
But thought all you guys and girls that like to tinker could use the reference material to do the job correctly! I thought it would be useful to people that don't have a manual.
I just downloaded it again on my old IPAD and it works perfectly? I will try again in the morning on my PC at work. But from the replies Maybe don.t download unless you have an Apple product.
I have seen a web site that sells the manual via download and it looks exactly the same (at least the few pages they show as a preview) It doesn't seem to have the ABS bleed procedure which is what I wanted it for among other things. It doesn't have as many pages as the payed downloadable one as well maybe 30-40 pages less if I can remember correctly. Once again, sorry if I caused anybody any computer problems! I thought it would be useful to people that don't have a manual.

I did it just to test as it is very RARE that something will download onto an Apple product and not a PC unless it was generated on a Mac using Apple software.
IPads are extremely limited to what they can download, so, it made me wonder even more. It is laid out like and appears to be at least part of the BMW REPROM. There ARE page and section number on all of the pages I scanned through. I don't recall how many pages the OEM REPROM has, but, it was not a good manual when compared to the Clymer. Like this one, it was laid out poorly and hard to find info. FYI, in this download, it was a little over 36mb and there were 385 pages that downloaded in about 2 minutes.

Seized up my old clunker Dell before. 36mb that's always the early version of the manual. It may even have errors that were corrected in the later version. Later version is much larger, over 40mb and 416 pages and can be found on Tradebit for not a lot of money all things considered.
That's another site where you have to be careful Tradebit, lots of manuals are misrepresented and you may get scammed for some extra $$$$. That one is safe: Mine is now uploaded somewhere and I can give access to it, came in handy once from the road. Paul, I was in Ireland when we had that terrorism event in 2001. The oem manual should be about 40 Mb. That is not a lot for a fiber connection, but is for 5Mb/S ADSL on copper and worse on Ethernet X10. The longer the download (slower speed) the more chance of getting some bites corrupted, then Acrobat will throw it out when it does a checksum.
Had the same problem with software updates from China on slow connections. Best way to success is to work out when they are asleep on that site domain and download when the traffic is less and quiet.
