My practice showed my basic math needed refreshing. It had lots of 'find percentage of' or 'average percent increase' and multiply decimal points.

For example they will give you a map and see how good you are at planning a driving route. You might get an ethical section as well.

These tests are not hard. That doesn't mean they aren't competitive though. Most departments rank you by written score, where the oral interview and cpat is pass/fail. This means you gotta really nail every single question.
