  1. Yamaha 9 9 Vmax Manual

Read this manual carefully before operating this outboard motor. General information. Identification numbers record.

The Cyclepedia Yamaha VMX1200 VMAX online motorcycle service manual features detailed full-color photographs and wiring diagrams, complete specifications with step-by-step procedures performed and written by a seasoned factory trained technician. The Yamaha VMAX is a brute of a motorcycle. It handles rather poorly by today’s standards but remains to be a stop-light-to-stop-light, rocket ship on two wheels. It’s certainly got that outlaw bike thing going on – that’s why we’ve got it caged up above behind a barbedwire fence in a graveled stockyard (photo at the top of this page). Thanks to the fine folks in media relations at Yamaha, I had the chance to test ride a VMAX.

I used the 1996 model to commute to work from Redondo Beach, California for nearly two weeks. My ride was mostly within site of the coastline along Esplanade, passing the Redondo Pier, onto Hermosa Ave, to Manhatten Ave all the way through El Segundo, Playa Del Rey on to Marina Del Rey.

Sweet roads for a VMAX. I was reluctant to see the bike go. One speeding ticket later, on the expressway, and I knew it had to go. I hope you enjoy this manual as much as we’ve enjoyed wrenching on this classic muscle bike. Thank you to the Yamaha VMAX community – we wouldn’t be here without you.
